![]() ![]() That was a few years ago, now a Spitfire guard is ridonkulous ducats, but still, worth it. I sold my old VMJM loaded guard for decent money, so at least it 'offset' the Spitfire purchase. Yes, I'm aware of my OCD, and it has costed me dearly-I mean you're talking to a guy who bought a Spitfire for his VMJM (no ragrets, fellas, None). Tort snob here: the tort on the entire VM line is hideous. As you can see the tort has a lot more red as opposed to the original "brown" Tort pickguard. Just wanted to let everyone know who has been looking to modify the look of their Stang. The pickguard fit like a glove and only cost about $25 us currency. Although I did have a SD hot rails in the bridge, I did not have to do any cutting or filing to fit it on. Very similar to the ones on the Cobain sonic blue mustangs. However to my surprise, the one I was sent from Angela's was a red tort. But I ordered one anyway, because the one I had was becoming damaged and jagged due to wear and tear. I currently hate the tort pickguard that came stock with my mustang, you know, the brownish one. I checked back last week, and they had a tort pickguard in stock. Originally they only carried the white pearloid one, but it was often out of stock. Anyone who has been looking for a drop in pickguard requiring no cutting or modifying, Angela's.com has them in stock. ![]()
